Jennifer is an undergraduate senior in the Neuroscience major under the Molecular, Cellular, and Physiological track here at the University of Maryland. During her time at the University, she has been involved in research through the BioFIRE and McNair Scholars programs, as well as with the Children’s National Neuroscience Research Institute in Washington D.C. She became a student ambassador for the NEUR major in May 2022, where she has since worked with the Professional Development committee to coordinate career-oriented events and opportunities, including the semesterly career panels and now the NEURxNACS Coffee Chats. Through her involvement as a student ambassador and her research experiences, she has developed a passion for academic peer mentorship, leading her to join the Neuroscience Advising team in August 2023. Jennifer’s future goal is to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Neuroscience. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys exercising, and spending time with her friends and family
