Neuroscience senior Seti Ouelega is using storytelling to raise autism awareness and celebrate the bond she shares with her sister, Meghan.

Through her children’s book, Marvelous Meghan: Our Big Sister, Seti highlights the importance of empathy, understanding, and inclusion while honoring the experiences that inspired both her advocacy work and her pursuit of neuroscience.

Reflecting on her sister’s influence, Seti shared, “I’ve always been interested in the brain, especially seeing how different my sister’s brain is compared to other people. That’s definitely what inspired my major in neuroscience.”
