Iman Idrissa, an undergraduate major in Neuroscience had the opportunity to spend time as an REU intern in the South-East Zoo Alliance for Reproduction and Conservation (SEZARC) lab located in Jacksonville, Florida!

As an intern, she worked on a Summer long research project assessing sex steroid hormone concentrations in southern stingray paired blood plasma and serum.

Additionally, she had the opportunity to learn how to review scientific research papers, present research proposals and learn more about the graduate school application process!

Overall, Iman had a GREAT research experience working with some extremely talented researchers in the field of endocrinology and reproduction! She also enjoyed exploring the campus and a variety of city attractions!
